In the late 1990's Elsie Oettle started a crafts business making hand-made items as a source of income for local communities surrounding Upland Organic Estate.
Hands Africa's vision is to see local communities uplifted and dignified. This vision has been brought to life through the opportunity of employment through expressions of creativity. A hand-made card industry took off over 25 years ago and continues to bring income to local families, employing all ages. Click on the gallery images below to view some of our cards full size. |
